Not a bad start. The level design is a bit lacking though

WizardWare responds:

Yeah, level design isn't really my strength.

Well-done, it's actually DIFFERENT compared to other RPG Maker stuff

You actually added new sprites, detailed dialogue, you properly credited ALL the people you borrowed these assets from, and you even made it fun to play. Have four stars, you earned it. Hope you pass your assessment.

CrystalBCU responds:

Hi Imao, thanks for your feedback and the four stars. The postgame stuff is the extra bits I was allowed to add, because I realise there would be the general public playing and fortunately my tutors/coordinators are fairly flexible. As long as it was clearly separated, it was fine to do. Fingers crossed that I do well, thanks again 😁

This is definitely some quality frontpage material! It has all the fun stuff we need to get us hyped up for the full release. Hope you do well during development.

PippinGames responds:

Thank you very much. Follow us on social media.
We're posting all the development there. There's a lot about the other parts of the game! I know you will love it! XD

Day 1 of asking ZabuJard to put medals in his games

ZabuJard responds:

I can't get them to work usually otherwise I would

Love the overall message you implemented while still keeping the humor within it :)

artofsenpai responds:

i appreciate the kind words please stay tuned for the next version!!!!

Normally I wouldn't review a FNaF fangame judging by how much of those we have already, but this is actually well-coded for a Scratch game on Newgrounds, so I'll give it 3.5 stars

CTSlol responds:

thanks! i spent like 4 years making it (i'm literally not joking, FNAS 1 was released in 2018, FNAS 2 in 2021)

Groovy little RPG, but please be sure to put the control scheme in the description when you have the chance

ochiogrande responds:

Yeap , just did that , and improved the game as well whit a new item to drop. A helmet.

I'm sorry but this really isn't all that good so far

For starters, the sprites are all poorly coded into the landscape. I would recommend making a texture pack with your own style to fit into the background a bit more or if you do decide to go online and get sprite sheets from there, please at least credit the original maker of those. A Metal Slug character jumping on living mushrooms in a Japanese landscape seems unfitting. The enemies die at times where you're standing still too which is weird

The collectables floating around the stage do nothing to increase your score (which there should be), upgrades, etc. For these, I would code them to open the exit when you collect them all in each level. Speaking of levels, the design is lacking and looks like they were pieced together in a level editor to where it's very easy to pass each one. The game is way too short in duration length and needs more of those to go through as well

There's also no sound effects either. It's complete silence whenever I progress through the game. I can message you some music to use for the game as well if you want, please let me know if you need help with that

Hope this review helped

FullGlove responds:

Hey Bro! Thanks for your review and ideas, it really helps . I'll sure be working to implement them in the next update coming soon! Yessir, please send the music, I'll be flattered to hear it.
